I like to think that I am of average height (5’6”) and my body is well proportioned in terms of torso/trunk length vs. leg length.
But my pants, unfortunately, tell a different story.
All of my jeans, for as long as I can remember, have fit me this way. Some are worse than others. It kind of sucks, because not all styles of jeans look good when they’re excessively long with bottoms that are clumped up around your shoes. And then there’s the problem with the material dragging and getting chewed up by the ground, as well as acting as wicks and sucking up water on rainy days to the point that my knees are wet.
I think I need to find a tailor.

Oh I have the same problem and I am super short I am about 5’4.
Or, buy a pair of heels
I’m pretty sure the American averagre is 2 inches shorter than you which is also 2 inches taller than I am. For the most part, I can find a lot of pants in short sizes though I currently have one in avarage that is still too long even when I’m wearing heels; I don’t think the clothing companies are very releastic with their measuremenrs.
I also have that issue with waterlogged pants up to my knees and I’m pretty sure that flared pants don’t help with this.
It’s interesting though because I come from a family of lots of short people and I think many people in my home state are also short so when people like Debbie call 5’4″ super short, I just want to laugh!
