I asked Ryan to go, “Choo choo!” yesterday afternoon, and he actually did it. How awesome! Of course, it probably helped that I had bought a plastic and metal toy train for him and a conductor’s hat at the [private] Railroad, which is where Danielle, Matt, Alyssa and I went on Thursday afternoon before Danielle and Matt went back home to New Jersey. Ryan’s occupational therapist comes to see him on Friday at 1pm, and I’m really looking forward to telling her how he is improving a bit with imitation. Not to mention how awesome he was at the pool party the other night!
I am really, really tired right now, but I want to stay up and get some work done. I didn’t go to bed until 6am Thursday morning, and was back up at 8am. I napped from 4pm until 6:15pm Thursday evening, but less than five hours of broken sleep is never enough.
I don’t know how Jason, who routinely naps off and on around the clock, is able to function day after day!
