Why so serious?

So I’ll be enrolling Alyssa into preschool for this fall. Seeing how some of the soccer moms are around here, I can only imagine some of the competition (how disgusting is that; competition amongst toddlers and preschoolers!) between the moms for the best dressed kid this fall. Meh, if you ask me, preschoolers do NOT need designer baby clothes. Three, four and five year old boys and girls should be busy learning crucial social skills, singing songs, doing arts and crafts and playing together, not coming to school in the latest designer baby clothes and kid fashions.
I refuse to bow to the standards of fashion. Alyssa will be well dressed in fashionable and clean clothing, but her lines run more towards Target, JCP, TCP and Baby Gap, and not designer apparel!
