I want one.

So… how much for carports? I’d love one for the following reasons:
- Protect our vehicles during bad weather (we had a bad batch of hail in August; my car had some paint chips knocked off its hood as a result
) - I wouldn’t have to scramble to load/unload kids and/or bags during rainy weather
- Bird poop wouldn’t hit our cars (while our cars were parked, anyway)
- Interior temperatures wouldn’t get quite as high during the summer
So yes, I want a carport. I think it’d be quite nice to have.

Why stop at carports? Go for a full garage!
The only time I ever locked my keys in my car, it was pouring rain. I was pulling some stuff out of the backseat and was in such a hurry to close up the car and get inside that I neglected to grab the keys which I had tossed on the seat. I was not at home, so I guess a carport would be somewhat useless, but anyway… that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
