When I first got into paid blogging, which was with PayPerPost in February of 2007, I never realized how successful I would be at, nor that it would lead to other opportunities (freelance writing). Dan didn’t think so either. He cautioned me multiple times to not get too involved, make sure I stick with it, don’t be surprise if it doesn’t pan out, etc., etc.
Well, here I am, going on two years later, and my income rivals his most weeks. Not that I’m competing. I try to make as much as possible to ensure that we have a very good combined income. Paid blogging and everything it has led to has enabled us to live nicer, do extra things, buy designer kids clothes (just one outfit; it was too adorable to pass up!), and help out my family when they have needed the financial assistance.
What has paid blogging done for you?

I’ve been doing paid blogging for just over a year. My income varies a lot, which is very frustrating. But I have learned a lot about coding and websites as a result of the paid blogging. Needless to say, though, I will keep pushing and trying to earn more. I really enjoy blogging and I hope I can eventually turn this into a full time income.
PS- What’s your secret, Jen?
