You know, there’s loads of things available… for little babies. But manufacturers have this silly idea that once a baby reaches a certain weight, say, 35 lbs. or so, then they’re big horses and no longer in need of baby clothes, cloth diapers or onesies. But some babies are big! Ryan turned two at the end of July, and he was 39 lbs. then. And because he is autistic and has problems, he’s much more baby-fied than a lot of other two year olds I have known and seen, Alyssa herself included.
Needless to say, finding baby clothes, mainly cloth diapers and onesies, has been a real challenge. As far as baby furniture, I gave up on that long ago. He shook his crib apart in the fall of 2007, so he’s been in a twin-sized bed ever since!
