I swear, anymore it seems like Thanksgiving is just a hurdle to get over in order to get to Christmas. Coming home last night, I couldn’t believe how many houses already had their Christmas lights strung up and LIT! I don’t know, it seems kind of insulting to Thanksgiving and what Thanksgiving is all about…
But I admit, Alyssa is driving us nuts over Christmas, so we’re going to be decorating over the weekend. Of course, the tree won’t be going up until next weekend. That’s something I refuse to put up before the first or second weekend of December!
Anyway, Happy Black Friday everyone. 
I’m sure you’re all going nuts looking for that Sony Vaio or iPod or Tom-Tom, so enjoy! I’m sitting at home basking in my own laziness today. 
On black friday, my mother and I went to the library.
Does that make us total nerds?
(We DID stop at Kmart on the way home, where I got a pair of jeans for a little under $14. Does that count?) :-)
(Oh, and if it makes you feel better, we are not done with the decorating yet either. We have the tree up, and it’s partially decorated, but we still have more to do!)
