My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
In front of me is a list of all of the people we are giving gifts to this year. I have names written and underlined in permanent marker, and their gifts beneath them. So far I’ve just listed the gifts we’ve purchased. With the exception of two things (one hasn’t yet arrived, and the other requires a gift bag, which I don’t have), all of the things we have purchased are wrapped and under the Christmas tree. I want to put bows on the gifts, but between kids and cats, I think I’ll save the bow-affixing until the night before Christmas. 
I can’t believe how good we’re doing with Christmas preparation this year. While the rest of you are dawdling with decoration purchasing, perusing ads for Outer Banks rentals, and just generally slacking off, we’ve got all of our decorations up, our cards mailed out (cards to friends and family went out a week ago, and cards to online friends went out today!), and we’re halfway done our Christmas shopping. Usually we don’t even start on decorations until around now, and Christmas shopping next week or the week after, so I’m impressed at how much we’ve gotten accomplished so far.
