In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. One thing I am VERY glad about not having to worry about is moving. I don’t have to deal with boxes, U-Haul rentals, moving services, utility switches, etc. You see, we’ve moved so much in the past five years (four times total!) that I refuse to move again for at least another five years. The neighborhood may be boring, the house may be small, the school district may leave some things to be desired, but it’s still a nice and very affordable place to live.
However, I won’t grow roots, because eventually I do want to get up and out and away from here!
Moving- ick. I have a few friends who are currently moving, and I just can’t imagine going through all that! I’ve moved a couple of times in my life and that was enough to last a long time!
But I’m like you- you never know when I just might decide to move again.
