If there’s one thing I don’t miss, it’s eyeglasses. After wearing them day in and day out for nearly fourteen years, I was more than happy to make a permanent switch to contacts. FYI, I wear Bausch & Lomb PureVision monthly disposables, and they hold up perfectly.
Glasses are quick to put on and off, but they’re a pain as far as keeping them unbent, keeping the lenses in perfect condition, and cleaning off smudges and water spots. And let’s not even talk about the hassle of going from a warm environment to a cold one, or vice versa. Or trying to swim with glasses on. Or the inability to wear sun glasses. I could go on and on and on, but let’s just say that I love my contacts!
I soooo agree with you. I use Focus Daily lenses, and I LOVE them. Glasses are better than nothing, but lenses are so much easier for exercising, swimming, basically just living!
