My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. Alyssa started preschool last Wednesday. To say she loves it is an understatement. She was so excited on Tuesday night that despite putting her to bed by 8:30pm, she didn’t actually fall asleep until after midnight. Yeah, she was definitely ready for a nap on Wednesday afternoon!
Anyway, last night I planned on doing some writing on surplus electronics, but then I thought better of it, since I had to get up this morning to take Alyssa to preschool. So I went to bed early, got up early, got showered and dressed, and then got Alyssa up and took her to school…
…Only to find out that she didn’t have school today, because it’s President’s day. I felt so bad, not just because I got her up early, but because she started crying when the teacher told her there was no school today. :/
