While at the grocery store tonight, I got hit with a sudden huge craving for rice cakes, of all things. I breezed right by packages of cookies and all of the necessary ingredients for yummy chocolate chip cookies, and instead ran around until I found the rice cakes (I’d like to note: stores DON’T want you to eat healthy. Rice cakes are almost always hidden in weird ass places!). I bought three packages of plain rice cakes, and one package of white cheddar rice cakes. Each cake is around 45 calories with 0.5 grams of fat. That’s awesome, especially since I wolfed down three rice cakes on the way home.
I’m now very, very full. This definitely beats diet pills, which are often expensive and sometimes risky!

I personally wish I could crave celery. It takes more calories to burn the food than they have, so they’re like the perfect food.
Aren’t rice cakes one of the hardest things to find?! They are NEVER on the chip -or- cracker aisles. I have found them near dog food (?!?!?!?) And in the FREEZER section! They weren’t in freezers, just on a shelf attached to them. When in a new store I always have to have help finding them.
They sure are yummy, though. I find myself sometimes binging on them and counting up how many I could eat in a day without exceeding recommended caloric intake
