Hello!

My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.

About Kitty.nu

Kitty.nu has been around for several years. Once upon a time it was home to my personal blog (you can find that over at Jenn.nu), but it now serves as an outlet for my domesticated and wifey type ramblings.

Hold the diamonds and pass the electronics

Category:

A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and possibly through his hands (video game systems & video games). A way to a woman’s heart? Many would say diamonds, or even black diamonds, or rubies or sapphires or gold.

But for me? Skip the diamonds. Don’t get me wrong, I love my engagement ring and the diamond it boasts, but I’d much rather enjoy a new laptop, a new lens for my digital camera (have you seen my Flickr photostream?) or some type of computer accessory.

What about you ladies? What gets your heart a-flutter? ;)

Yep! I love gadgets. When I was recently told I may soon be receiving a BB Storm?! Ouuu la la!

I definitely need a prime lens for portraits of baby in a few months. I have a d-40, any suggestions on where to get one for better than the $140 I see -everywhere-? I tried craigslist but so far no luck.

  2. My in-laws thought it was awful I didn’t have an diamond engagement ring. I didn’t want one. Maybe if it had honestly been in the budget I would have felt different, but I don’t feel I missed out.

I was important to me to have matching wedding bands. It’s the only piece of jewelry I wear 90 percent of the time. And I wear it at all times.

I’d rather have books or clothes or craft supplies or really anything.
