My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
When my brothers were toddlers they couldn’t pronounce strawberries. Instead they said smallberries. Too cute. They’re both teens now (well, my youngest is 12, but he’ll be 13 this December, so that’s close enough!), but I still remember that. I still remember my fourteen year old brother saying qweewee instead of sweetie. So one of his nicknames — Qwee — came from that. I slipped and called him that in front of the secretary at his boarding school yesterday, and she was like, “What did you just call him?” and asked for the story behind the name. Heh.
Then after that we walked outside and laughed at the ridiculous looking lambo doors on an expensive car. How unpractical. How would you use those in a garage? Seriously?
Anyway, I thought of my brothers when I looked through my Flickr photostream and saw the photos of strawberries I took last week. God I can’t believe that they used to be so little! It seems like eons ago that my mom was having a baby shower and getting personalized baby gifts. Now they’re hulking teenagers, one of them being taller than me!

Mmm, strawberries. What’s funny is that I don’t eat them because I don’t like the texture of them. But if they’re blended up into a fruit smoothie? I’m all for it. If not, then I’ll pass on the squishy chunks, thank you very much.
Do you have any weird food texture issues like that? I’m the same way with most fruits, and with jello. *gag*
I’m the same- strawberries are fine in shakes, malts, smoothies, Poptarts, but the actual fruit? Eck! The texture is so weird.

Actually, Lamborghini doors are quite effective. Most garages have at least a 10 foot ceiling height and the doors don’t come close to that. Doors that swing OUT (hitting walls, other cars, etc) are much more impractical.
Of course, the doors only really look good on the car they were MEANT to be on. Any other car and you just look like tool.

I can’t stand oatmeal. It’s just….gross – the texture, the taste, just ick. LOL And beans…they’re like powder to me. Just icky!
