Surprise! My husband sprung his plot on me last Friday morning. It was about 8:45am, and I had woken up because he was on the phone with an employee from work. I got up to go to the bathroom, then crawled back into bed, having every intention of cuddling up under the covers and enjoying the rainy weather which is oh-so-perfect to sleep in.
But that didn’t happen, obviously. 
Dan told me to get up and get dressed, so we could go out. He took me down to Philadelphia so we could enjoy the Mutter’s museum. He drove, which was quite nice. I got to check on Twitter and look up office furniture (I want a smaller computer desk that we can fit in our small and cramped bedroom), and doze a bit. Whoo! After the museum that we went to Nifty Fifty’s for an early dinner, and then to a movie theater to see The Time Traveler’s Wife (incredibly awesome movie! I highly recommend you read the book first, though.). It rained the entire day, but we still had a wonderful time. I think the best part was not having kids to haul along with us!
