My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. ‘Tis the season, for, well, the season! Can you believe that Christmas is less than two months away? The stores have been chomping at the bit, throwing out little holiday-ish items here and there. Well, when I walked into Target today, holy crap, Christmas is just exploding out of every endcap, shelf and orifice. I cannot believe how quickly they moved to get the whole store looking festive!
To tell you the truth, I’m on a roll with Christmas shopping this year. Check it out:
Dan: 2/3. The remaining two items are a little pricey, so I’ll work those in later this month.

Brothers: 3/3 (each). Done!
Alyssa & Ryan: 3ish (I say ish because I forget exactly what’s stored in the shed) gifts each.

In other news, I have a legal copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, thanks to the awesome Jason. He used his connections with some Microsoft peeps (did I really just use that word? Ick!) to get two copies of Ultimate for cheap, and he gave one of them to me. Aww. It was such a surprise! I spent a bit last night backing up data on my laptop (there wasn’t much to back up since I run back ups and multi-computer syncs on a regular basis, whew!), and then installed Windows 7 on a freshly formatted drive. I installed a few basic programs this morning, and I plan on doing the rest tonight while I’m watching CSI.
*yawn* Did you remember to set your clocks back last night? I did, and the weird change has me feeling so sleepy!
