The best Christmas gift ever

Dan and I have been together for nine years and three months. That’s nine Christmases for those of you playing along at home. :P In that time we have exchanged plenty of gifts, and have always put a lot of thought into them. But hands down, the best Christmas gift Dan has ever gotten me is a gps! Last Christmas he gave me a Garmin Nuvi 200w GPS system, and I was so excited once I had unwrapped it. I couldn’t wait to boot it up and try it out!

Let me tell you, that little Garmin has gotten a lot of use. We took it to Pittsburgh, it’s been to Philadelphia, to Maryland, and I think to Delaware briefly. We’ve used it throughout this area and the surrounding counties, since we’re obviously not familiar with where everything is at. I even use it locally, to find shorter or alternate routes to places I commonly go to.

Men (and ladies!) — looking for a great and useful gift to give this year? You should definitely consider a GPS system!

  1. COMPLETELY agree! We have a Garmin Nuvi as well, though not sure which model. We actually got a refurbished one off Amazon and LOVELOVELOVE it! It wasn’t a gift, just a mutual purchase we agreed on when getting rid of the internet on our phone. We also purchased Garmin’s “Lifetime Maps” off Amazon which is around $90 for lifetime updates as opposed to the $40/update every quarter or so. :) Jenn´s last blog ..Halloween! My ComLuv Profile
