My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. Dan and I have been together for nine years and three months. That’s nine Christmases for those of you playing along at home. 
In that time we have exchanged plenty of gifts, and have always put a lot of thought into them. But hands down, the best Christmas gift Dan has ever gotten me is a gps! Last Christmas he gave me a Garmin Nuvi 200w GPS system, and I was so excited once I had unwrapped it. I couldn’t wait to boot it up and try it out!
Let me tell you, that little Garmin has gotten a lot of use. We took it to Pittsburgh, it’s been to Philadelphia, to Maryland, and I think to Delaware briefly. We’ve used it throughout this area and the surrounding counties, since we’re obviously not familiar with where everything is at. I even use it locally, to find shorter or alternate routes to places I commonly go to.
Men (and ladies!) — looking for a great and useful gift to give this year? You should definitely consider a GPS system!
COMPLETELY agree! We have a Garmin Nuvi as well, though not sure which model. We actually got a refurbished one off Amazon and LOVELOVELOVE it! It wasn’t a gift, just a mutual purchase we agreed on when getting rid of the internet on our phone. We also purchased Garmin’s “Lifetime Maps” off Amazon which is around $90 for lifetime updates as opposed to the $40/update every quarter or so.
