My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
My biggest enemy while I was in the hospital, besides post-op pain, was boredom. My Sprint wifi card wasn’t working, so I had no internet access. I felt craptacular and fatigued and achy, so I wasn’t into reading the magazine or book I brought along. And because I’m not into many TV shows, even television bored me! And of course the television shows I do watch weren’t playing on the limited number of channels the hospital’s cable television system had. *sigh*
So what did I do? I slept. I tuned in to watch Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown and CSI in between the commercials for Padron cigars, accident injury lawyers and Chevy trucks. I talked to my husband. I texted my online friends. I looked for new wallpapers for my phone. And I did my best to make do with whatever television shows that were available, even though they almost bored me to tears.
Why can’t I be like everyone else out there, with all these shows they’re addicted to? Sucks to be me!
Seriously, I would be bored right along with you! I don’t watch that many TV shows even though it seems like I do. Usually the shows I watch are various spinoffs of my other favorites. Sucks when you don’t like TV!
