That would be me, a day after the gastric bypass surgery I had on November 18th, 2009. Since it was a laparoscopic surgery and I had no complications, I was discharged on Friday, November 20th. I’ve been slumping around at home in pajama pants and tank tops, and making good use of a Vicodin elixir every so often to get rid of the worst post-op abdominal pain I have been dealing with.
Yesterday was a crappy day in terms of how well I felt, but today has been much better, especially after the 2.5 hour nap I took this afternoon. Here’s to hoping that tomorrow is an even better day!
