It’s like bulimia, but with no binge

I did perfectly until I reached two weeks post-op. That very morning, I threw up a bit of soup because I ate too quickly. Since then I have had some issues with air getting trapped in my stomach pouch. At first it was happening because I was coughing a lot (cold), so I was inhaling a lot of air. Now I think the issue is talking while eating. I threw up once today, three times last night (though in all fairness, those three times would have been just once if I went ahead and threw up everything in my stomach pouch, rather than throwing just a bit and hoping that would be enough), and a few times over the past week. I’ve thrown up in a McDonald’s, a Burger King, and here at home. Argh.
Gastric bypass… even more effective than effective weight loss pills, since when you do eat there’s still the risk of throwing it all up. Heh.
But overall I can’t complain. On the tolerance front I’ve been able to tolerate everything I’ve eaten, including the “iffy” foods that some people have trouble with — like pasta (a bit of macaroni and cheese on two occasions, and a bit of chicken lo mein yesterday afternoon), bread (toasted) and spicy foods (Taco Bell taco — no shell — and a few chips dipped in nacho cheese).
I just need to work on the air issue, and I think I’ll be a happy camper!
