I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of Super Mario Bros. (Wii)! I played several rounds of it tonight with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, and OMFG was it ever fun! I’m seriously not a gamer, but I got right into Super Mario Bros. Of course, it helps that it’s the sideways 2D gameplay that I played when I was a child.
It’s slightly embarrassing to admit this, especially since I’ve played maybe 10 total hours of video games in the last ten years, but as soon as Dan and I left his aunt’s house tonight I made him drive to the nearest Walmart to see if they had it in stock. Sadly, that Walmart was closed, and the two other ones I called were out of stock. *cry* I’d do a lot to get that game right now… even write a thousand or so words on being a business plan consultant, or some similar mundane topic. But I checked Target’s and Toys ‘r Us’s websites, and according to the “check to see if this product is in stock” thingy, both stores have the game in stock. Come tomorrow morning I’m going to check Target first, since we received a $50 Target gift card for Christmas, and Dan promised to check with GameStop if Target doesn’t have it. If neither have it I’ll check with Toys ‘r Us and wherever else I can think of. As a last resort I’ll order it online…
Needless to say, I am seriously desperate to get my hands on a copy of Super Mario Bros.!
