My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
As of today I have lost exactly 75 lbs. Not bad, right? I’m proud to say that I got the first 45 off on my own. The remaining 30 have come off since my surgery on November 18th, 2009.
Currently:
Reaching my current weight of 256 lbs. means I have less than 100 lbs. to go until I reach my goal weight of 160 lbs.! Sure, 96 lbs. (how much more I need to lose) isn’t that far from 100, but when you’re my weight and so determined to lose weight, every pound counts!
Now that I’m just about six weeks out from surgery, I’m feeling SO good! I have so much energy. Moving around is happening so much easier and faster, and I feel AWESOME. I know that 256 lbs. is nothing to sneeze at, but from me, it’s an incredible improvement from my highest weight of 331 lbs.!
Anyway… how was everyone’s Christmas? Mine was great, though I need to get something for Dan, because the gift I did pick out for him — a blu-ray player — wasn’t something he wanted or needed, so I took it back today. I could go for any of Home Depot’s selection of American Standard sinks, bu that would be more of a gift for me. 
Dan has been dropping hints left and right about a paint sprayer, so perhaps I could spring for that…
