That’s how long Dan and I spent playing the game tonight. Oopsies.

I found a copy of Super Mario Bros. today! Target must have just gotten a bunch in, because they had at least 10 copies, while all of the local Walmarts, Toys ‘r Us and GameStop were completely wiped out.

Of course, tracking down a spare Wii remote was another story… see, I’ve been borrowing my brothers’ Wii, since they can’t have it while they’re in foster care and my mother obviously doesn’t use it. I thought she had two remotes for it, but I guess not, because when we got home this afternoon with the game, whoops, only one remote! So I ran back out… and every store was out of remotes. I wound up buying US a Wii just so we’d have two remotes. But I wanted to eventually get us our own Wii eventually, so it all works out…? Yes, I know, I’m a dork!

  1. I was going to say, did you have a Wii already? If not, might as well buy one so you have your own anyway! :) Just curious, is it hard to get used to playing Wii-style?? LOL

  2. @Charity it’s sorta okay… eh, I’m into 2D play! What Super Mario Bros. has going for it is the side scrolling, lol. I have no idea what other games are like!
