My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
I’m currently sitting in one of Panera Bread’s reclining chairs, with both my laptop and my plate on my lap. I pretty much know when my local Panera is going to be busy, but the mob that is currently in the restaurant surprised me. It’s 2:11pm on a Sunday afternoon, and a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon at that. Most people should be snug at home or out shopping, not popping into Panera for a mid-afternoon meal. If it weren’t for the fact that I really didn’t want to waste the gas to go home and then come back out, I would have simply gone home and come back later.
A 2-person table just opened up, but since it’s still so mobbed in here I’ll do the nice thing and stick to my reclining chair. It’s not very conducive as far as having room to spread out goes, but I’d rather be nice than inconsiderate.
It surprises me that there’s always a bunch of people at our Panera on rainy days, if anything, its more packed on rainy days than any other day! It’s a bit frustrating since you’d assume no one would be there.
Maybe everyone else has the same idea I do lol.
