My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
So, a quick update on my Do or die blog entry. I have pneumonia. A run-of-the-mill virus went to my lungs after my body couldn’t fight it off. I saw my doctor on Tuesday afternoon, and after she listened to my lungs, then listened some more, then had me change positions so she could listen some more, she sent me off for a chest x-ray that confirmed her suspicions of pneumonia. Go me. When I do sick, I apparently really DO sick!
So, I’ve been huddled up at home with meds (both prescription & OTC), tissues, Neosporin for the chapped skin around my nose (from all of the tissue-using, blah), a humidifier, and water. I’ve been sleeping a lot, and when I’m not sleeping I’m tired. Speaking of sleep, who needs an over the counter sleeping pill when you’ve got Theraflu? 10% alcohol + anti-histamines = sweet dreams for Jenn!
I’ve just been trying to take it easy, because when I get up and move around I get really out of breath and winded, and then I feel even worse. Fun times. I used to joke about being so out of shape that housework could kick my ass, but when it seriously happens? Not so funny.
Thera flu is sent down from the heavens and when I open a packet, I hear angels sing.
