I always arrive early at a movie theater. How early depends on the popularity of the movie. When I saw Twilight — on opening night, no less — I made sure to get there an hour and a half early, and even with us getting there that early, the theater was already half-full. But if I’m seeing a movie that has been out for a few days or weeks, I’ll generally arrive twenty to thirty minutes before the movie starts. That gives us enough time to pick up our tickets, get drinks and/or snacks, go to the bathroom, and then find decent seats.
My brother-in-law’s girlfriend and I already made plans to see Eclipse when it opens on June 30th. Needless to say, we’re going to get to the theater at least two hours ahead of time and camp out with [hopefully] awesome seats! Speaking of camping out, is it wrong that I’m tentatively considering skipping the Cyber Monday deals and instead trying my luck at the Black Friday shopping madness?
And on that note, why am I thinking about the pre-Christmas shopping frenzy when it’s not even May? Eh, my only excuse is that I’m very excited about life in general these days, so I have been doing a lot of thinking ahead.
