We’ve lived in our house for over three years now, which means we have already had three springs here. Yet this year, our fourth spring, is the first spring that we’re actually making a concerted effort to fix up our yard. Last June Dan planted a Kwanzan cherry tree as a birthday gift to me, and this week he picked out several types of bushes to plant alongside the one lonely little azalea bush he put in the ground last year.

Now we just need to mulch and we’ll be good to go!
