Saturday 9

Saturday 9: Home

1. Do you live close to where you grew up? Why?
I live about 60 miles from my hometown. I don’t know why – I just do.

2. Have you ever been so angry that you almost lost control?
Yes. Who hasn’t?

3. Are you a fan of a musical act that slightly embarrasses you?
Nope – in fact, I’m not a fan of musicals at all. Call me a plebeian, unsophisticated, whatever, but they’re just not my thing.

4. Is there a movie that always makes you cry?
A few – mainly animal-oriented ones like Milo & Otis.

5. Who is the most famous person that you’ve met?
I bumped elbows with The Bee Gees (and didn’t even know it, ha!); I also met Ree Drummond at BlogHer ’10.

6. Before you leave your home, what must you have?
My vitamins and my protein.

7. What do you miss the most about being a kid?
The lack of responsibility – more than anything, the assurance that the adults in your life would take care of everything, and all you had to do was listen to them and do what they said.

8. Tell us about a passion of yours that your readers would not expect.
I can’t think of one, to be honest.

9. At what age do you think you’d be to think, “I’ve had a great run”?
I’d say by the time I’m 60, I’ll have the mindset of having had a great run in this craziness called life.
